Thanks for your e-mail. It is great to hear all this news. Congratulations on your new job —  it sounds fantastic. I am sorry that I do not write  haven’t written for ages but I was  have been really busy. You know we moved to London last year? Well, we are working now  we have been working on our new flat since then. You must visit us when you next come to London. Meanwhile, I start  have started running again. Do you know how I was used for running used to run (?) when we were at school? Well, last year I decided that I need to get fitter and I joined the  a sports club. And guess what? I just run  have just run in the London Marathon. I finished it in five hours fifteen minutes. I feel very proud of myself. And I was  am / have become five kilos lighter! Hi there. It was a decent attempt, but I think you need to really study 2 very important tenses, without which you can’t really be understood:

• the present perfect simple and
• the present perfect continuous.

In addition, I think that the expression «used to» is new to you, and you probably confuse it with «be used to Ving«.  Finally, I think that some brush-up on articles might be a good idea. Please study the mini-lessons below (I select the best — short, interesting and clear) and do the interactive exercises. It will help you to really improve your English as the 3 topics I mentioned are very important for any situation (work, friends, business).
